Does n3rgy support push notifications for Advanced Meter data?
Yes. n3rgy has extended its push notification capability to Advanced Meter (AMR) data.
How do I configure AMR Push Notifications?
Push notifications can be configured through the n3rgy Business Portal. You can configure the webhook URL, API key, and the relevant utility and reading type combinations.
How do AMR Push Notifications work?
A notification is triggered when a batch of AMR data has been successfully validated, processed and stored. n3rgy then identifies customers with push notifications enabled for the relevant HAN, utility and reading type and sends the webhook notification.
The notification therefore indicates that data has been successfully ingested and processed. It does not necessarily mean that the data represents the latest available interval.
Will I receive a notification for late or historical AMR data?
Yes. If historical AMR data arrives later and is successfully processed and stored, a push notification will be generated where the relevant notification configuration applies.
What happens if previously provided AMR data is corrected?
If a previously provided value is revised, for example where an initial 0.0 value is subsequently replaced with the actual reading, successful processing of the corrected data will trigger another notification.
Can the same period therefore generate more than one notification?
Yes. Notifications are linked to successful processing events rather than exclusively to the arrival of a new latest interval. As a result, subsequent processing of corrected or late-arriving data can generate an additional notification.
