We have recently made changes to enhance the Consumer Portal output files, as follows:
- Import (consumption) and Export (excess production) data output files: these now include the device IDs to allow the support of scenarios where there are multiple devices under the same MPxN.
- The previous output file format included a timestamp and the value for each half-hour.
- The new output file format, has in addition the device_ID for each line of timestamp/value, allowing us to cover scenarios where there is more than one device or there was a device replacement.
2. Tariff data output files
- The previous output file format were restricted to a set of ToU (Time of Use) tariffs, based on the interpretation of the data retrieved from the meter. These were presented as values per day. For some tariff cases, this approach was leading to potential inaccurate information as there was no indication of the period of the tariff.
- The new output file format is in JSON, including the relevant details retrieved from the meter and allowing the consumer to interpret it. This includes information about the first and last time of collection and the information the energy supplier uploaded to the meter.
3. The maximum request period is now set in 3 months instead of 90 days to ensure consistent output regardless of the specific number of days in a month.
